Born in the cave. Built for the stage.
Our story is one of quiet preparation, raw devotion, and a calling that wouldn't let us go.
Our story
1 Samuel 22:2
And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men. This verse is the heartbeat of David’s cave season — misfits turned warriors, broken people becoming a band of brothers under God. So here’s a framework for Adullam Cave Choir:
Vision, Mission & Values
Vision
To raise a prophetic generation of worshipers from the “caves” of life — people who have known distress, debt, and discontent, but are now commissioned as captains of sound. A choir that shifts atmospheres, heals nations, and prepares the way for the King, just as David’s men moved from the cave to the kingdom.
Mission
To gather the distressed, the broken, and the overlooked into a company of worshipers, transforming pain into praise and misfits into minstrels for God’s glory. We exist to be a refuge where voices are restored and destinies are realigned through sound, presence, and community.
Values
- --Refuge & Release: The Cave is first a hospital, then a training ground. We make room for healing, lament, and honest worship before we focus on excellence.
- --Brotherhood in Battle: 400 men became David's mighty men. We're not soloists competing, we're a company covering. Unity is our sound before harmony is.
- --Prophetic Sound: Our songs are weapons. Like David's harp drove out torment from Saul, our worship confronts distress, cancels debt, and silences discontent.
- --Process Over Platform: Adullam came before the throne. We value hiddenness, character, and oil over applause. The cave anoints you for the crown.
- --Testimony to Triumph: Every member carries a before the cave story. Our music tells of how God takes the indebted and makes them investors in His Kingdom.
Our training philosophy
1. The Cave is Not the End: We believe every cave season is a womb for greatness. Distress is raw material for depth. God recruits in caves and reveals in palaces
2. Sound Precedes Structure: Before David was king, he was a psalmist. We prioritize authentic worship over performance. Our sound is born from scars, not just skill.
We also equip churches
Beyond training, we install audio systems, configure stage rigs, and train worship teams to use them — because the right sound serves the right Spirit.
